Microsoft Project Training
We offer two basic courses at introductory level and an intermediate course for more advanced users. We are also happy to tailor courses to focus on areas of particular interest to delegates.
It is our view that software tools such as Microsoft Project should be used to support good project management practice rather than to drive it. Consequently, the nature of projects and the point in the life cycle at which tools should be used is reviewed and discussed on both courses.
Microsoft Project makes use of several established planning techniques such as work breakdown structures (WBS) and critical path analysis. We believe that delegates will maximise benefit from using the software if they are familiar with these techniques. On both courses delegates are therefore shown how the techniques work first and then how to use them within Microsoft Project.
